Palacio del Sol's hotel wing opens in Fall, 2009. It will feature superior accommodations for visitors who wish to get away from it all on the stunning Gold Coast. Queen size, pillow-top beds and 400-thread-count linens will offer a welcome respite from a day of swimming, hiking or boating in Costa Rica's rainforest coastline.

Guests can relax by the infinity pool, with its 180 degree view of the Pacific Ocean, or enjoy the sunset from the artisan-designed spa.

The Patio Bar will feature an assortment of local beers, fine wines and spirits.
Palacio del Sol overlooks Playa Prieta, one of Costa Rica's most stunning beaches. This secluded cove offers a white sandy beach and ample shade for picnicking. A pleasant two-minute walk from the Palacio, Playa Prieta remains virtually unknown to tourists.
Follow the carved stone and coral walkways to the grotto entrance, which leads to the hotel lobby and restaurant.
Water features meander from interior spaces to the Palacio's grounds, leading guests to the patio or restaurant bar. The grotto entrance, filled with orchids and bromeliads, the 75 foot reflecting pool, the 22 foot waterfall, and the 300 gallon saltwater fish tank will impart a feeling of tranquility to your stay.

Green Season (May 1 to November 14)

Per night - $275

Take-out lunches for beach excursion days will be available. Dinner reservations for the 80-seat dining room must be made in the morning.

Method of Payment:

Reservation and payment options - 50% deposit of the total rental rate required to secure reservation. The remaining 50% is due 40 days prior to arrival, payable via wire transfer or check (please note that bank clearance may take up to 30 days in Costa Rica).
A bank fee is customary for all wire transfers (10.00 up to $1499 and $20 over $1500).

Damage and telephone deposits are required in cash upon arrival and refundable at the time of your departure.

We also offer PayPal Secure Credit Card Payments plus a service charge upon the rental rate, eliminating the high costs of wire transfers and expediting your secure reservation.

Cancellation policy:

Less than 60 days' notice, 50% of the deposit is refundable.  Less than 30 days notice, 25% of the deposit is refundable.
